Thank you, Sergio Rampino for posting the video on Peter Horan. It sent me on a deeper dive into his story and I found this very instructive video about County Sligo music. Peter Horan has some bits in it as well as others. The value of the video is the portrayal of the metamorphosis of ITM from the time where it was farmers gathering to be social and entertain to where we are at today. No matter what one thinks, it’s still people making music for people and trying to lift the spirit.
Apologies if this is redundant. I did a quick search to see if it had been published before adn did not find it.
