There’s a set with the Carraoe Jig and another one called Tony Mc Mahon’s played by Kevin Crawford, James Cullinan and Maurice Griffin. I can’t find Tony Mc Mahon’s here. My ability to search on the ABCs is terrible. Does anyone know what the tune is called here? I know I’ve heard it elsewhere.
Is it The Banshee? That was written by McMahon.

“The Banshee” was written by Belfast flute player James McMahon, not Tony McMahon. It was me who posted the recording. I have it on a mini-disc, and will find it and have a listen. Watch this space. Only took a minute -

Aah, sorry – I was doing it from memory, and I only remembered the surname.
Oh wow I found it by searching for the notes one string over on my fiddle. Of course I can’t pronounce it. Na Ceannabháin Bhána.
Interestingly it looks like someone filled it in on the recording link I posted, but they replaced the original name of Tony MC Mahon’s which is the name that comes up when you play the CD.
I found it an hour and a half before you and posted it above. I also updated the title in the listing, as the tune itself is a lot older than Tony McMahon, whom I don’t believe would have made any claim on it.
