Lovely jazz. I like. Why are you promoting it here?

Re: Shameless plug

I’m sorry if I’m overstepping my bounds. I simply thought that since this is an irish music forum, and my bands cd is irish, and is an independant release which doesn’t have advertisements in irish music mag or borders nationwide and relies on word of mouth, giving the info here would be logicall. I also thought some people might want to know,. Again, I’m sorry if I was mistaken.

Re: Shameless plug

Its nice Tyler fair play - PS no one ever reads your man’s posts.

Re: Shameless plug

It’s very good. When are you guys touring Poland?

Re: Shameless plug

Veeeery nice stuff, Tyler, really lovely. What’s the name mean?

Re: Shameless plug

Sounds sweet!

Re: Shameless plug

Exactly!

Re: Shameless plug

Great playing, guys.

Why don’t you do your samples in .mp3 instead of .wav ? It would save on space, cost and download / stream time. Just a thought.

Re: Shameless plug

Hey Tyler-

I just wanted to say that I really enjoyed the show on Tuesday! You guys were awesome. I can’t think of a band who deserved that crowd as much as you- except maybe my band. ;)

Hope to see you soon.

Tyclops is the bestest! He also looks great with french braids in his long flowing locks.

Congratulations, Tyler. I know you’ve been working on it for a long time so I’m happy for you and your bandmates.

Re: Shameless plug

sounds great- would you be able to get it across the pond here in the uk?

Re: Shameless plug

I need a credit card

Re: Shameless plug

Great playing. I really enjoyed the sound bites.

Ignore KFG, there’s room for everyone here 🙂

Re: Shameless plug

Wow, thanks everbody.
We can definitely get it across the pond Aaron B.
Email me if you have any questions: millish@comcast.net
I really appreciate everyones support. It’s very inspiring and encouraging.

Re: Shameless plug

Indeed, ignore me. I’m obviously nuts for thinking your music is lovely, although those of us who think there is room for everyone here are in the distinct minority. I was the only one who admited to playing along with Gry’s hip hop tracks and when Flogging Molly was being flogged and "laughed off the stage" suggested that people just enjoy the music. It can get viciously parochial in here. Notice how some seem to feel that I’ve insulted you by noting that your music is jazz? Hence my question.

And thank you for answering it.

Re: Shameless plug

I think Kevin needs a hug.

Re: Shameless plug

And you, *you* think his music isn’t Irish at all, just "Irish melody."

Re: Shameless plug

"And you, *you* think his music isn’t Irish at all, just ‘Irish melody.’"

I never said that. Obviously yer man, Tyler, is quite accomplished at Irish trad. I think he qualifies as someone capable of truly fusing it rather than just ripping it off, like so many "celtic rock" bands do.
