Master Classes with Aidan O’Rourke, Kris Drever, Martin Green & Lori Watson
The launch event for Glow Arts, new Edinburgh based Arts Company, promises to be a day of inspirational music as part of Edinburgh’s Ceilidh Culture. Saturday 22nd April will see an exciting programme of Master Classes by some of Scotland’s top traditional musicians. This is the ideal opportunity to development your skills with Aidan O’Rourke on Fiddle, Kris Drever on Guitar, Martin Green on Accordion (all members of great trio Lau) and Lori Watson on Song.
The master classes are for intermediate players and above, and for people aged 16 years and above. The event takes place in the Quaker Meeting House, Victoria Terrace, from 10am to 4pm, for the cost of £40 and concessions on application. Fiddle Master Class: Aidan O’Rourke
Work on your style, ornamentation & bowing with this fantastic fiddler at the top of his game.
Guitar Master Class: Kris Drever

Piano Accordion Master Class: Martin Green
The most imaginative and exciting accordion player around don’t miss this rare opportunity to learn from his skill and musicality.
Song Master Class: Lori Watson
Learn traditional Scots song from one of the finest young voices in Scotland. Already a recognised ‘Tradition Bearer’, Lori will help you Interpret and re-work some lesser known gems.
Glow Arts is a brand new company specialising in music agency, events management and arts education in the traditional music/ arts world. It is delighted to work alongside Ceilidh Culture. Ceilidh Culture is Edinburgh’s annual showcase of traditional arts, held in the spring of each year.
