An Irish Evening in Roswell
Fiddles, flutes and pipes will fill the air with traditional Irish music and Irish step-dancers will take the stage for a wee bit of the auld sod at "An Irish Evening" at 7:30pm on Saturday, October 13, 2007 at the Kudzu Playhouse (608 Holcomb Bridge Road — the original location inside Startime Entertainment Complex).
Featured performers include: Music in the Glen, Póg, The Atlanta Jr. Ceili Band, Celtica, Fiddle Team Fulton!, and The Father O’Reilly Ceili Band.
Irish dancers from the Mulligan School of Irish Dance, the Drake School of Irish Dance, and the Cregan-O’Brien School of Irish Dance will perform.
Hosting the evening will be Dr. James Flannery, director of the W.B. Yeats Foundation at Emory University.
Tickets are $15 for adults and $10 for students and seniors. They are available through the Kudzu Playhouse Box Office.
The concert is the annual fund-raiser for the Irish Arts Foundation of Atlanta, a north metro non-profit arts organization sponsoring Irish music concerts; workshops and classes in traditional Irish music for all ages; ceili dances and other events including the annual Atlanta Irish Music Competition.

However, you are cordially invited to attend the after-party and session at the Harp Irish Pub on Holcomb Bridge Road in Roswell. It will start around 9:30 pm in the back room. Food and drink available! The Harp is located on the east side of GA 400.
