Professor Gearóid Ó hAllmhuráin will be presenting his long awaited book to legendary Clare master musician Peadar O’Loughlin, to whom the book is dedicated. "Flowing Tides" will be introduced by Harry Hughes, Director, Scoil Samhraidh Willie Clancy in celebration of Peadar and his Clare contemporaries, who preserved Clare music and traditions for generations.

He is also author of A Pocket History of Irish Traditional Music (O’Brien Press, Dublin, 1998– 3rd edition)
