6th Scottish Flute Weekend

Following last year’s great success and hot on the heels of Aberdeen, the FluteFling organisers are looking forward to another feast for flutes and whistles. With workshops featuring Claire Mann, Rebecca Knorr and Munro Gauld, The Cathal McConnell Trio in Concert and sessions, there is something for everyone.

Re: 6th Scottish Flute Weekend

Are we not a bit late with that one, Kenny? :)

I believe it’s around 26th April?

Re: 6th Scottish Flute Weekend

Thanks JJ - dates corrected.

Re: 6th Scottish Flute Weekend

PS - our title is slightly misleading, in that last year we opened the event up to players of both "soprano" and "low" whistles - all players welcome, and of course, our tutors are all experienced whistle players as well as flute players.
One other important thing I should have mentioned is that we gratefully acknowledge continuing financial support to the event from the "Tasgadh" awards scheme administered by the "Fèisean nan Gàidheal" organisation.
