All the best of music, song and dance in Tullamore 31st March to April 2nd. See full line up of concerts and workshops below but don’t forget there will be hours and hours of free to enjoy music also from recitals (accordion, fiddle, flute), family entertainment and session trail!

Concerts:
Main Concert - Friday 31st March
Frankie Gavin and Catherine McHugh. Support on the night is provided by the trio of Alisha McMahon (harp) Aoibheann Queally (concertina) and Rebecca McCarthy-Kent (fiddle) assisted by Offaly’s own Michaela Keenaghan and Kildare’s Jack Lynch (sean-nós dancing).

Early Concert - Saturday April 1st
Anne Conroy Burke (acordion), Eileen O‘Brien (fiddle), Mary Conroy (guitar) and Deirdre McSherry (piano), who will feature much of the music of the late great accordionists, Joe Burke and Paddy O’Brien.
Venue: The Bridge House Tullamore
Time: Doors at 5:00pm

Festival Club - Saturday April 1st
Our Saturday night Festival Club, also in The Bridge House, features a double-bill headline of local legends Best Foot Forward followed by Conor Moriarty (accordion), Sean Kelliher (guitar) and friends.

Hup! Offaly - Saturday April 2nd
Hup! Offaly featurs just some of the best local talent and honors those who have made an outstanding contribution to the traditional music scene in Offaly
Venue: The Tullamore Court Hotel

Workshops:

Instrument workshops will take place in Coláiste Choilm, O’Moore Street, Tullamore - 10am - 1pm

This year, we’re also running a group ensemble workshop (open to all instruments) under the musical direction of Rebecca McCarthy Kent which takes place after the above instrument workshops (2pm - 5pm)
Workshops cost €15 and are aimed at intermediate standard and above.
