Started playing the English Concertina January 2004 and haven’t looked back. There’s something addictive about concertinas and I have trouble putting it down. I now have a metal ended extended treble Wheatstone Aeola, an amboyna Lachenal and a Morse Albion.
In 2007 I tried to buy replacement bushings for my concertina from Rich Morse, who sold me a C#/D Lilly Castignari that I didn’t realize I was looking for. I’ve had great fun on it ever since. I also have an Acadian accordion from Marc Savoy that is a real joy to play.
I have been managing a website for our local session for the last little while. http://music.gordfisch.net/montrealsession/ have a look around and tell me what you think.
