I’m RWW (Bob) Taylor, from Rochester NY. I played music with old-time musicians here in western New York state for a good many years, but over the last fifteen or twenty years I have slowly shifted my focus to Irish music, also well-represented hereabouts, and this is about all I play these days.

I play melody guitar and octave mandolin, and am specially interested in tying together the contents of various tune books I’ve collected and the various large on-line discographies and tune collections that are to be found on the web these days -- obviously a long-term project.

I used to think that learning one new tune a day might eventually “get you there”. But from the variety of tunes that go whizzing by on this site, that doesn’t seem like it’s going to do the trick!
