Eddie Ferrell

I’m from Charlotte, NC. I play recorder, baroque flute (both copies of 18th century originals), pennywhistle, guitar and mandolin. I am a member of an Early Music ensemble called Carolina Pro Musica. Our website
is CarolinaProMusica.org. On recorder and flute I specialize in 17th and 18th century music. I have a BM degree in Performance of Early Music from New England Conservatory. I have also played guitar in a string band at Union Grove in the early 1970’s. I also play folk music and Scottish and Irish tunes on flute, pennywhistle and mandolin. I have performed songs by Robert Burns on voice and guitar for several Robert Burns dinners in the past few years.
