tunebook 1 tune.

I play highland pipes, smallpipes, whistles, and used to do a tiny bit of uilleann pipes as well. My piping started in 2008 in the very small Dutch pipe band scene. I have played in different pipe bands ranging from "street bands" and competitive bands from grade 4b up to grade 2. I compete with bands both from mainland Europe and Scotland . Since playing in pipe bands can be a bit restrictive sometimes I like to branch out into folk sessions, where a different part of my music brain gets tingled. I mainly use my Scottish smallpipes in sessions, but will occasionally grab a whistle if I know the tune or get sick of pumping my bellows. With my repertoire being mainly Scottish I do a lot of listening in Dutch sessions that usually have a bigger focus on Irish music. I don’t mind listening tough!
