I’m currently living in the Comox Valley, on Vancouver Island, in B.C., Canada. I have played violin / fiddle for about 4 decades now, on and off, piano as well. Mostly I have played with family members, friends and random strangers in the south of France where I lived for a bit and where everyone is extremely keen to hear fiddle tunes. I did play with a couple of groups in France and learned lots from Pascal (fiddler in Genticorum) in Montreal while living there for a couple of years. I also studied the enchanted violin as a literary motif for my Master’s thesis at McGill university - that was quite a lark.
