I play the fiddle and have been known to drive half way across Ireland to find a good session. It’s a great hobby and such a privilege to play with like-minded, and often highly talented people. Started off in London as a classical player (can sight read at a sickening speed), had quite a few problems with technique and the trad style of playing TBH, but worked on it and now ‘switch’ between one and the other. Based in Ballymote, Co. Sligo.
