I live in rural Pennsylvania after roving much of my early life. I play most string instruments in many styles and have taught guitar, for over 5o years. I love traditional musics and like to play them, but I’m restless musically and sometimes stray from the path of orthodoxy. I was asked by my school to teach ukulele several years ago and find it hits a lot of sweet spots, in pitch, ease of play, fingerpicking, or single note etc. The 8 string variety hits the Mando Receptor in a satisfying way. I’ve used The Session as a great resource for years mining it for fiddle tunes without joining but now I wanted to put in my "two cents".
