Hi I’m Meri Lawes
I play 12 string guitar tuned to DADGAD but I only use 10 strings! No octaves for the low D and A, the middle D and G are unison like the top A and D. I like to accompany mainly but do dabble in the odd tune. My influences are Angus Young, Ed Boyd, John Doyle and John Neilson. I play with various people including John Neilson, Martin Hugill, Kevin Mercer and Rosie MacDiarmid.
