I am an orchestra conductor, arranger and composer, I conducted my first concert on March 31 of 1961 and have, since, conducted many orchestras in Canada, US, South America and Europe. Although I have performed in classical concerts as well as in Pop, my main interest is in the Light Music, particularly the British Light Music. I have been music director of the Montreal Pop Orchestra, the Pops Series of the Orchestre Symphonique de Montréal and the Concerts Populaires de la Ville de Montréal. Partly retired, I keep writing music every single day, sompositions as well as orchestrations of other composers. Over the years, I have built a large music library of about 1 000 of my orchestrations and I am currently busy building the Calixa ( the world famous Québec musician Calixa Lavallée ) Music Library in order to digitize, distribute and promote Quebec and Canadian Light Music.
