mandobrynley
tunebook 92 tunes.
I,ve been playing ITM for 20 or more years, woodshedding on my own for many years in a very rural setting, more recently moving nearer the action, and playing as many sessions and workshops as possible. My main axe is mandolin, I also play tenor banjo, fiddle and Arabic oud. Some might call me a bit of a culture vulture, as I,m interested in and play many acoustic folk genres, Irish+celtic ,French Canadian, Greek, Turkish, Balkan, and Arabic. Currently I,m the other half of the duo “Vazzy”, we specialize in French Canadian song and tunes ,music with a sometime medieval-middle eastern flavour, using the afore mentioned instruments, with voice ,foot percussion, Bodran, spoons and Dumbec. See you at the sessions!
