Athens Irish Festival

The first Athens Irish Festival took place in May 2022. Three days of trad music, along with dancing, theater, presentations, kid’s activities,food and drink. We also held the largest open air session in Athens with 20 musicians from all around Greece.

From the festival sprung Inis, a cultural association, a collective of artists, educators and people passionate about Ireland who design cultural events , educational workshops and activities.

We are currently hosting Irish trad sessions twice a month in the centre of Athens , leading up to the second festival which will take place in June 2023.
