I live in central Texas. I have a music degree - flute, piano, saxophone. I picked up the whistle a few years back and I’m really loving overcoming my classical training! There aren’t any sessions to join in my town, but I’ve got a few tunes down fairly well. You can definitely hear the classical training in my playing though.
