Jake Keane-Candib

I have a classical background, but at this point in my life I prefer to play Irish/Scottish as well as Appalachian and American old-time folk tunes. I also love to play jazz standards. I mostly play with my dad, who plays guitar and piano. Our near-term goal is to firm up and memorize our repertoire of Irish fiddle tunes so we have a set we can play to try to get some gigs.

I am super excited to have discovered the Session, as it seems like an absolutely incredible resource for learning and exploring folk music. Can’t wait to dig in! Thank you to everyone behind the scenes who makes this resource available to us all!
