I’m from Sherbrooke City in the province of Quebec, Canada.
I play whistles, wooden flute and uilleann pipes.
Started with the whistles in my early 20s, back in 1982.
I love Irish, Galician and, of course, quebecois trad.
Quebec trad has a particularity you may not know of : the instrumental - and lilting - tradition derives directly from Ireland and Scotland, while the singing taps in the French tradition.
