Now in my 70’s; an ex-Londoner living in Hampshire. In my 20’s really tried to teach myself Flute & Tin whistle. Gave up but tried again in my 50’s & it all came together and was confident enough to play at my first session.
At 64 bought a concertina and some lessons with Pat Egan’s classes in London.
Now I can really chill and bang out some tunes - ok I’m not Noel Hill!
So don’t think age is a barrier-it ain’t and don’t take it all too seriously.
