    In Ottawa there are sessions 5 nights a week. Mostly Irish sessions and one Newfoundland type session which usually has lots of singing and accordion tunes. There are regular Ceili’s with good bands although they generally are not open bands. more…

  • This one is still going strong. I would say advanced beginner or intermediate. It is very noisy and can be very fast. Average 15 to 20 musicians in a very small space. Lots of fiddles and accordions. more…
