My name is Leslie. I studied Classical violin from the age of 3 but I made the crossover about 6 years ago to Irish trad fiddle. I grew up in Rochester, NY, but I currently live in Northeast Ohio, where I play with the five-piece dance band, Gan Ainm, and the Ancient Order of Hibernians Ceili Band. I also teach fiddle lessons and play at assorted sessions in the area. I learned most of the tunes I know while studying for two semesters at the Irish World Music Center at the University of Limerick in Ireland, and from assorted folks I’ve met at sessions on this side of the pond.
