Irish Alison

I am a musician from the Grand Rapids, MI area. I play flutes, whistles, percussion and vocals in a few local bands. I have played concert flute since the 6th grade and was never serious about music until 2005. Have been playing Celtic music since April of 2006.

As of 2020 some sessions that I attend are:
- Brass Ring Brewery Trad Celt Sessions (search for their Facebook Group)
- Grand Rapids Traditional Irish Session (also a Facebook Group) currently held at Flanagan’s in downtown Grand Rapids, MI. Myself and a few others started this session at the former Black Rose back in 2006 and then later McFadden’s. It makes me happy to see that the group has evolved over the years and still meets on Sundays.
