I live in Limerick, Ireland. My musical background was mainly classical guitar and piano, but about 20 yrs ago I started playing traditional Irish music on the banjo (Irish/tenor banjo, my current one is a Clareen).
Apart from trad music my interests are other music including opera and chess (I play on Gameknot, current rating is 1634), swimming, cycling, karate and reading (thrillers, science fiction and the classics).
