I’m a Scot originally from Annan, a town in the Scottish borders, moved to Interior British Columbia, Canada five years ago. I’ve played the accordion for 27 years, since I was knee high, also the fiddle and whistle. Some of the milestones in my (amateur) music carreer other than playing with lots of groups/bands, have been running my own ceiliedh band around S. Scotland & N. England, leading a Scottish fiddle orchestra (on accordion), and playing (for dancing) in Oman with three friends on seperate occasions for the Sultan and The Caledonian Society.
I’ve been aware of the session since 1999, at a different address, I then thought it went off the air until rediscovering it and finally signing up in 2002.
I like meeting people and believe in world peace……..
