I’m from the Pacific Northwest, and go to college in Maine.

I like to play mostly Scottish and Irish fiddle. I play some of my fiddle tunes on the tin whistle, and once in a while I’ll try playing them on the hammered dulcimer.
My favourite artists/bands are Natalie MacMaster, The Cottars, Chrissy Crowley, and The Barra MacNeils, among others. I’ve been pressing the back button on the CD player until I get the tune in my head, and figure it out. I’m really glad i can have the sheet music now too.

A couple years ago I went on a trip to Cape Breton and spent a week at the Gaelic College there. I learned a lot and my playing has gotten a great deal better.
