I am President of the Irish Musicians Association of America, which is the oldest Comhaltas branch in the United States. I play fiddle, bouzouki, concertina, and guitar and sing Irish, American folk music (mostly traditional), and some Scottish songs.

I play in sessions at Lanigan’s Pub, Mrs. Murphy and Sons, Clancy’s Pub, Chief O’Neill’s, The Carriag in Gaelic Park, Fifth Province Room at the Irish American Heritage Center, the Grafton, The Kerry Piper, and O’Shaunessy’s Pub in the Chicago area. I also travel to Ireland annually in November to participate in the Ennis Trad Fest. I also go to sessions at The Teacher’s Club annually in Dublin, and I have played at The Cobblestone, The Courthouse (Tommy O’Sullivan’s) in Dingle, and Tigh Giblin in Spiddal, County Galway. Each Summer, I participate in the Catskills Irish Arts Week in mid July and try to attend at least one session in New York City. in 2017 I participated in the session at the 11th Street Bar and at the Landmark (46th and 11th Avenue).
