Call me Ciara or Kira or Kirsten or anything else…

I play whistle/low whistle in an ITM band here in “greater greater Chicago”, also known as Milwaukee, Wisconsin. I’m also learning bass guitar, kind of. I’ve a few tunes to my name now that are making their way around the circles. My band is named Waking Maggie and we’ve got a site at www.wakingmaggie.com. We just finished our second studio CD in time to play at Milwaukee’s Irish Fest, very excited about that! I am an ardent supporter of John Sindt whistles, other than that I own only cheap instruments.

Let’s see… I’m a Linguist… Student… Always up for travel and/or visitors. I lived in Prague and Berlin, hope to make it to Galway some day…
