tunebook 85 tunes.
tune set 1 set of tunes.
I have been playing the mouthie since I was 12 as it was the only affordable imitation of Jimmy Shand’s accordion that my pocket money could extend to. In the intervening years I have played many more instruments, both plucked and blown, with various degrees of success in a number of styles. Now based in Durham, UK, I play harmonicas and whistles in a ceilidh band called “The Scrumpy Badgers”. The contents of my tunebook here pretty much mirror the selection we use for live dance sets and reflects a bent for Caledonian material, thanks to the early influence of my father’s stack of Shand LPs.
