I play DG melodeon, C#D button accordion and a few tunes on a BC instrument. Am keen on Irish tunes but play a pretty wide variety of English, Northumbrian, Scottish tunes plus a few each of American, Canadian, French. I live near Alnwick but regularly travel the 45 minute journey to the Irish Music Session at the Cumberland Arms, Newcastle on Wednesdays (2nd, 3rd, 4th and 5th of the month). For the last year I have been attending a “Mainly but not exclusively Irish” Session at the Black Bull in Etal on the First Wednesday of the month. (Since November 2015 the venue for this session has changed to the Black Bull in Wooler).
