I`ve played bass in local (Fort William)bands for many years.Currently in a rock covers band.
In 1990,local fiddler Angus Grant snr,converted a fiddle to lefthand for me and I went to his house for a tune and a blether for five years.
I love playing fiddle, also play mandolin and tenor banjo.Learning 2 row Button Box. Have a tune and song every week in The Ben Nevis Inn,Achintee,Glen Nevis,Tuesday nights during the summer with around 14 regular musicians.Winter,we do a thursday up the Glen and the following tuesday at The Grog and Gruel,Fort William.
There are sessions about once a month in the LochAilart Inn or the Lodge,Glenfinnon,also Sunday nights at the Clachaig Inn,Glencoe.Written three tunes so far!Enjoy all kinds of music.Look forward to picking up some good tunes here.
