tunebook 73 tunes.

These days I play mandolin mostly, but I’ve played guitar most of my life. For the last year I’ve drifted back into Irish trad after a few years off it, having lived in Ireland for most of the last year. I’ve dabbled in Bluegrass, Old-time Appalachian, Choros and Scandinavian in the past. Sort of Jack of all trades, master of none!
Over the last few months I’ve been trying to play the fiddle, Irish trad of course, and it’s an uphill struggle. On the mandolin I can play loads of Irish dance tunes; although I know the left-hand fingering is the same on the fiddle, taking intonation into account, there’s the bowing to consider!
