Hi, I’m Hervé, flute and whistle player from (near)Paris; I’m 66 and have been playing for more than 45 years.
I have a CD out ‘’for the sake of old decency‘’ recorded in 1995; very few copies around; kind of very traditional approach to Irish music; some like it others don’t !
I played in sessions with Martin Hayes, Séamus Creagh, Gerry O‘Connor and Gary O’Briain, Jackie Daly, The Murphy Brs, M. Tubridy, Gary Shannon, Karen Tweed, Joe Molloy, G. O‘hAllmhurain and Patrick Ourceau… in Ireland, in Britain or in France mostly . On stage once with Mary McNamara, Micheal O’Raghaillaigh and Chris Drowney in Kilrush for Eigse Mrs Crotty; what an experience but I was shitless !
I recorded another CD released in 2017 : ‘’two shorten the road‘’ with some friends; it is different from the first one with some scandinavian tunes and one valse musette with the great accordion player Tiennet Simonnin.
