Tijn Berends

Climate scientist slash musician from the Netherlands, playing harmonica , bouzouki and concertina.
Right now I play in the bands “Withershins” and “Four of a Kind” and the duo “Itchy Fingers”. I also host the session in O’Leary’s Pub in Utrecht.

I’m an active music writer, with well over 50 original tunes under my name. A handful of them can be found here, but since thesession is not meant for original compositions, I’ve stopped entering them here. If you’re interested, I bundled all of my compositions so far (as of May 2021) into a little book, “Hands Up Or I’ll Play”, which is available from my website, www.tijnberends.com
