Emer de Lugh

tunebook 21 tunes.

My name is Cynthia, I am learning NeoIrish harp and singing.
Talk about me is difficult, I am woman. But there is something
sacred for me and there is music, poetry and the bautiful mysteries of Ireland. Beacuse they put my heart to flicker like a star and my mind flies away to legend lands of Tuatha Dé Danann, and the land of this song I love, but I can´t uderstand the name.

Sé Fáth Mo Bhuartha (song)
The reason for my sorrow is that I may not visit

The lonely valley where my love is
There is honey and rushes there and butter on cream
And up until the beginning of autumn the trees are in bloom
There is no northerly wind there, there is no hard snow there
There is a harbour and a bay there for ships and for boats
There is more goodness there, and the trip there is no hardship
For the one who would win the love of my fair darling

I went to study early mediaval music from Spain, Italy France, but Ireland caugth my heart and that feels very goog.

Sincerely, Cynthia
