I’m a traditional fiddler/melodeon player aged 73, and have been playing folk since the early sixties. (I was initially taught by Dave Swarbrick, when he played for the Ian Campbell Folk Group at the Jug O’ Punch Club in Digbeth, Birmingham.) I’ve played in ceilidh bands and folk-rock bands in Birmingham and the West Midlands, and have played for seven different Morris clubs. I now live in Lincolnshire. I go regularly to two or three sessions - one of which I now run at the Bugle Horn in Bassingham, not far from Newark and Lincoln (see “Sessions”). I play English (including Northumbrian tunes), Irish, Welsh, Scottish, French and American Old Time music.
