Though I was born just outside of Washington DC, I lived in London for a time and there I gained an affection not only for Early Music, but for Celtic Culture. My father’s ancestors are Italian and possibly Greek. My mother’s ancestor’s are Scotch, Irish, French and German. I’m American, and live in an area of the USA steeped in Civil War history. I hold a bachelors degree in Music Therapy, and masters degree in Nursing. High whistles are my chosen instruments at the moment, but I’ve also studied and performed on the Classical Guitar and Renaissance Lute. As a long-time Behavioral Health/Addictions RN (Registered Nurse) I assist in the treatment of patients with varying diagnoses, commonly including anxiety, depression, PTSD (Post Traumatic Stress Disorder), TBI (Traumatic Brain Injury), BPD (Bipolar Disorders), AD(H)D [Attention Deficit (Hyperactivity) Disorder] and Personality Disorders. I arrange concerts for those patients performed by professional musicians through the generous volunteerism of , & other fine artists. I believe the power of music can change healthcare outcomes, and therefore, lives!
