W. E. (Bill) McGillis

I live in Timmins, Ontario, Canada. Nearing retirement, I have been teaching English and Drama for 23 years at this point. I play fingerstyle guitar and have found The Session to be a great source for material. Have been playing traditional instrumental music on guitar now for about twenty years and at this point have almost 50 various jigs, reels, hornpipes, etc. arranged for fingerstyle guitar. Living in northern Ontario, the opportunities to participate in “session” playing are few and far between. (Actually pretty much non-existent.) Have been using this site as a resource for some time now and am looking forward to logging in now as a participant.
