I played tunes on the guitar with the three-finger grip for many years, but I eventually changed to a more “normal” two-finger grip with occasional support from the other finger. The three-finger grip was causing a bit of extra tension in the wrist. more…

I’ve done a bit of it, including some tremolo borrowed from classical guitar. It was fun and it can certainly be a charming sound, but without amplification it’s very quiet. I didn’t pursue it because it was damaging my nails. more…
