I beg to differ; I can tune during a session just fine. With a tuner, I can quietly play the dominant notes of the tune, in time like a very very quiet drone, with the tuner on and make adjustments. more…

I use MuseScore. It’s free. You can import pdf files. I’ve done many and it works quite well. The “Import PDF” feature takes you to a website where you upload the pdf and fairly soon it is available to download. more…

Doesn’t bother me, if they keep it quiet. I have occasionally, at smaller sessions with good friends who aren’t so judgemental, pulled out Tunepal to very quietly sightread a tune I like but don’t play. more…
