Bill Owens

I’m a lifelong resident of New York - that’s upstate New York, not The City - and for the past almost-two-decades have lived in Syracuse. I have piano and clarinet in my distant past but don’t play either one any more, some guitar, and lately have picked up the pennywhistle with an eye towards playing for our Border Morris side, the Bassett Street Hounds. Most of our repertoire involves traditional tunes, and in the course of learning them (and learning about them) I’ve been led here on many searches, so it seemed like a good idea to join in. . .
