Instruments: play a bit of anything acoustic and stringed but am a master of nothing. Right now (summer 2014), trying to take my dulcimers to the next levels (MD is intermediate?, HD is brand-new beginner), especially when playing with other instruments. In a group setting, I usually retreat to the safety of backup no matter what instrument I am playing, but hope to overcome that some day. Would love to learn to frail a banjo.

Music preferences: Like most everything, especially “mountain music” and Child Ballads (not mutually exclusive, of course) as first choice.
