Anna Sellars

Fiddle player from North-West of England, mostly playing Irish trad.

I’m Anna, a fiddle player from Kendal in Cumbria, although I don’t know any Cumbrian tunes! I started learning the violin classically aged 6 until I was 19, though since the age of 10 was captivated by trad music. I played a few basic tunes in a small folk band when I was 11-12, but I only went to my first session once I moved to London for university.

I’ve been playing at sessions on and off for 5 years now, and am always looking for some new craic! ;) Currently based in Edinburgh.
