I come from Northern Ireland but have lived in Cardiff for 33 years. I play descant recorder and whistle in a traditional Welsh music session at the Butcher’s Arms on Monday evenings. I wasn’t brought up with traditional Irish music and I am classically trained but would like to find an Irish session in Cardiff.
