Chicago Police retiree since 2001. Resident of Florida since 2002. Started touring Ireland in 2014 as a sight seer. Became aware of my Irish heritage love of music as the son of Irish American parents and began taking music lessons on the tin whistle. Today am presently a member of an Irish Trad Music quintet. Have returned to Ireland every year,. Truly enjoy sitting in except the 2 yrs. Covid shutdown, where I visit musical venues in which ever town I stay in and have learned to really enjoy and come to see further into my heritage through the marvelous music my antecedents have have handed down to us. Truly enjoy the Irish hospitality when I’m lucky enough to sit in with the sessions in whichever pub in what ever County, Town I happen to stay in.
