Music isn’t just a hobby, it’s my entire life! I first started playing piano at the age of about 3 or 4 ,I then took up the fiddle at the age of 5. Throughout the years, I have continued to grow my knowledge in music, and I have also learned how to play the flute, recorder, saxophone, guitar, ukelele and mandolin. I really started taking an interest in the fiddle when I was moved to Cape Breton back in 2007. That’s where I became inspired by many of the greatest fiddlers such as Natalie McMaster, Brenda Stubbert, Colin Grant, etc.
Now, at the age of 16, I have been playing music for about 11 years, I perform with a youth fiddling travel group known as the Macleod Fiddlers, out of Glengarry area, and I do over 30 shows a year. Music has introduced me to so many people, places, and great oppertunities, and my adventure has only begun… 🙂
