Grew up in Charlotte, NC. Lived in Winston-Salem, NC, and Nashville, TN, before moving to Brevard, NC. Bluegrass fiddle was my starting point, moved backwards in time from there.

I am a retired mechanical engineer with a lifelong love of music. I primarily play tuba (semi-professional, that is, I have gotten paid for playing, but never attempted to make a living doing it), but have long been fascinated with Celtic music.
